Add Icons to Slideshows and Docs

Looking for some great icons that you can use in your presentations? FLATICON has them, and they are free! Here's how to get them:

1. Open any Google Presentation (slideshow) or Google Doc

2. Click Add-ons

3. Search for flaticon

4. When you see the image below, click on it.

5. Click Install

6. Allow permission

Now you are ready to add images to your presentation. To add an icon to your presentation:

1. Click Add-ons > Icons for Slides & Docs > Start

2. Search for the type of icon you are looking for.

3. Click on the image you like, and click Insert 

*Pro tip: Below the icon you have searched for are other icons in the same style.

4. You can resize the image in your presentation.

Animation in Google Slides

When we think of animation, most of us think of cartoons. In Google Slides we can use animations to enhance student learning. "The Big Reveal," and sometimes the slow reveal, can provide a unique impact in presentations. Animations can be used to to make a big reveal, to create suspense, or to allow feedback and participation.
